The Olympic torch has arrived in China and will do its three-month long relay across major cities in China. In Sanya, Hainan, Hong Kong action star Jackie Chan and other celebrities added glitz and glamour to the parade. It seems that despite its protest-ridden run in Europe due to the Tibet crisis, the parade has been well-received in China.

Woohoo, just one more reason why I’m excited with our upcoming move to Singapore: The 2008 FIA Formula One World Championship!
The new race is scheduled to take place towards the end of the calendar in September or October. The timing of the night event means it can be broadcast at a convenient time for European TV audiences as well as thrilling local fans. It is also expected to have a hugely positive economic impact on the region.

For all rugby fans out there, mark December 9, 2006 on your calendars!
The Hong Kong Rugby Football Union (HKRFU) will be holding a sole public ticket sale on December 9 2006 at the Hong Kong Stadium in So Kon Po for the Cathay Pacific/Credit Suisse Hong Kong Sevens 2007 to be held from 30 March to 1 April 2007.
Same rules apply as before:
