Remember my foiled plans to go along the Philippines’ North Luzon west coast? Well, I didn’t manage it make it a reality, but I’m glad someone did… or close to it, at least.

In a few weeks, we’re off to a 2-week holiday to the Philippines. Initially, we thought of taking a domestic flight to one of the southern islands perhap Boracay, Bohol or even Davao– but in the end decided to explore North Luzon instead. I hope the temperatures are still cool over in Baguio, and from there we’re planning to drive along the west coast through the Ilocos Region up to Pagudpud, the northernmost tip of the island, said to be the Boracay of the North, minus the party-life.
