I’m not sure if you’ve heard of the disaster involving unclaimed luggages during the recent opening of the new London Heathrow Terminal 5 airport: more than 20,000 luggages went unclaimed due to a glitch in the computerized luggage system.
The worse part is, some reports say that reuniting these luggages to their owners are complicated by the fact that a large number of them are unidentifiable. No tags, no labels.
