The next time I spend a holiday in the vicinity of these resorts in Thailand, I’d definitely would like to try the X2 Resorts, just to satisfy my curiosity. No, not to check out the resort facilities and amenities, but purely because I’m intrigued by the name: X2 (read as “cross to”).

Popular holiday island Koh Samui will be al the more accessible as Thai Airways launches flights to Samui starting February 15. There will be two flights daily from Bangkok (one at 7:45 am and another in the afternoon at 4 pm).

The Informed Traveler has the scoop on two new luxury hotels to open on the island of Koh Samui, Thailand: the W Retreat and Residences-Koh Samui and Conrad Koh Samui Resort and Spa, both scheduled to open late next year.

Warm waters, white sand, reliable sunny weather. A lifetime will probably not be enough to explore all the wonderful beaches in Asia.
