Thailand-based budget airline Nok Air is celebrating its 3rd anniversary by offering 33,000 Seats on domestic flights at just 3 Baht each (exclusive of tax and surcharges), for travel between July 6 and September 30, 2007.
You can book via NokAir, Call Center 1318, or at the airport ticket counter from 3rd to 13th July 2007 only.

Malaysian budget airline Air Asia is having a grand sale. To celebrate its having carried 30 million guests to date, the airline is offering fares as low as RM0.30–that’s less than 10 cents (USD)! Well, of course, you have to add taxes and surcharges on top, but it’s still a good deal!

For example, I tried checking the fares online, and saw that if you book now, you can get a one-way fare from Singapore to Phuket in July for just S$1.88.

Starting March 23, 2007, Tiger Airways will fly 4 times a week from Singapore to Perth, Australia. Return fares from Singapore start from only AUD$292.24 (fares range around US$200-230), inclusive of fees and taxes. The flight takes about 4 and a half hours.

Soon Oasis Hong Kong Airlines will no longer have the monopoly of offering budget fares for the Europe-Asia route. Last week, a new long-haul budget airline has been unveiled: Air Asia X, a joint venture between Air Asia and Fly Asian Express (FAX) – will launch in July and fly from Kuala Lumpur to destinations in India, China and Europe.
Estimate fare prices on Air Asia X flights to London would be priced from $80 to $450 (£41 to £231) return. Definitely competitive to Oasis’ fares. I wonder how the service will be like.
