Support Your Charity When You Book Online
As a child, whenever I didn’t finish my food or complained on what was for dinner, I’ve always gotten a lengthy lecture on other unfortunate children who had no food to eat. I’m not sure, but I guess this could be one factor why there’s always a part of me that feels guilty whenever I splurge on holidays. I’ve never really been on what may be considered as luxury travel by any stretch and even if I had the money, I don’t think I ever would. I think I will never be able to find a reason to justify it.
Now, I don’t mean it as a criticism of those who do go on such holidays. Some of you work hard for it. You’ve earned it, and yes, you deserve it.
But if you’re like me and you hear a tiny voice making you feel guilty on treating yourself to an extravagant vacation, why not book your travel needs through Good Shop?
GoodShop.com is the new online shopping mall which donates a percentage of each purchase to the charity designated by the buyer. There are more than 600 stores participating including Expedia, Hotels.com, Travelocity, Budget Rent-A-Car and others. The shopping experience and the prices are exactly the same as going to the sites directly, but by going through GoodShop first, up to 37% of the purchase price is donated the shopper’s favorite cause.
I’m sure you’ll feel at least a tiny bit better, knowing you’re not just the only one who will benefit with your holiday vacation!
