Oasis Hong Kong Goes Bankrupt, All Flights Cancelled
Earlier this week, Oasis Hong Kong suddenly announced that they are out of business and left thousands of passengers high and dry. Oasis Hong Kong is the first long-haul budget airline, flying between London and Vancouver, and Hong Kong.
Since then, the airlines have been making arrangements with hotels and other airlines where passengers may make alternative travel bookings. If you are one of the passengers affected by this mayhem, make sure you fill out this passenger registration of claim form (pdf file).

Wow, that royally sucks. Flight cancelled due to company bankruptcy is a new one in my book.

I can’t believe that! Well, actually I can because this week has been particularly bad for airlines, both U.S.-based airlines as well as foreign carriers.
I am surprised that it was Oasis. I go through Vancouver quite a bit and there was always a long line of passengers waiting to check-in. I guess these high fuel costs are hurting everybody, worldwide.

There was a problem of oil price and maintenance because the airplanes was too old
