What to Do with Foreign Coins?

foreign coinsSo you’re leaving a country you most likely will not visit again in the near future. SO, what do you do with the odd bill or coins you have left over? Here are top 5 ways to make use of those leftover foreign money.

A lot of airlines also collect them and donate them to charity, such as UNICEF’s Change for Good program. If they don’t pass those envelopes around, ask your flight attendant for such donation envelopes.

Back home, find out if there are organizations who would gladly take your foreign coins as donation. In the UK, there’s Sense and the Rainbow Trust Children Charity, willing to put your loose change into good use.
