Let’s Visit Asia

The Singapore Tourist Pass

by Ruth on December 14th, 2007

As a resident of Singapore, I own a so-called EZ-Link card that allows me to use buses and MRT without having to pay in cash for each ride.

Singapore Tourist PassNow, this same convenience is afforded to tourists in Singapore with the Singapore Tourist Pass, which offers tourists unlimited rides on Singapore’s MRT; LRT and buses. That means, you can focus on your itinerary and don’t have to worry about figuring out the fares. Just hop in and hop off as you please. You have the option of getting a 1-Day, 2-Day or 3-Day pass for just S$8 per day (plus $10 refundable deposit).

You can buy these passes at designated Transitlink Ticket offices located at selected MRT stations upon showing your disembarkation card and passport. By next year, they will also be available online and at the Visitor Centres at the airports and in Orchard Road.
