Well, if your pockets are deep enough, there’s Shangri-La Hotel Baotou, the first international luxury hotel in the biggest city in Inner Mongolia.
Contemporary and elegant in design, the hotel features 360 luxurious guest rooms and suites with an average room size of 38 square metres, as well as 11 spacious serviced apartments. In addition to a host of signature Shangri-La amenities and services, each guest room offers a spectacular view of the city or the botanical garden.
The hotel just officially opened this month, and until April 2008, will be offering a special introductory rate of RMB698++ (US$93++) per night. Or, for long-staying guests who’d like to stay for 30 consecutive days, you can enjoy a discounted rate of RMB550++ a night.
