Last 24 Seats on the A380 First Flight up for Bidding!
Going, going, gone!
Except for the remaining 24 “last chance” seats on the Singapore Airlines A380 maiden flight, that is.
The two-week long auction for the rest of the seats had a good turn out, raising almost S$2 million (approx US$1.3 million) from the 638 seats put up for grabs. The record bid? The sale of the first Singapore Airlines Suites package on the Singapore-Sydney flight sold for US$100,380 (S$153,000)!
Want to be part of this aviation milestone? You’ve got til September 14 to secure one of the remaining seats.

Hi Ruth,
Thanks for your comment on my blog. I survived the Greek fires. Actually I was in the Islands (Kos, Crete and Mykonos) where there were no fires; only the island of Evia was somehow affected. I’m glad to be back and catch up your posts!
So it seems I lost the chance to bid for the maiden voyage…
As I’m always late, my posts at Blogtrotter are still in Bali 2005. Hope you enjoy it, anyhow!
Have a great weekend!
