Two Asian spots are included in the New 7 Wonders of the World(n7w): The Great Wall of China and the Taj Mahal.
The n7w were the results of a global election and were announced during the Official Declaration ceremony in Lisbon, Portugal on Saturday, July 7, 2007 – 07.07.07.
Next, the organizers are looking for nominations for the new 7 wonders of nature. Any ideas on sites in Asia that may qualify? I was thinking of the Chocolate Hills of the Philippines.

Thailand-based budget airline Nok Air is celebrating its 3rd anniversary by offering 33,000 Seats on domestic flights at just 3 Baht each (exclusive of tax and surcharges), for travel between July 6 and September 30, 2007.

Sorry for not posting the last few days. Relocation is a messy affair, indeed. We’ve arrived safe and well in Singapore last week, and we’ve just been busy, busy, busy the last few days. Most of the paperwork are done, though, but we have yet to find a flat. It seems like we’ve arrived at a time when rentals are soaring and it’s proving to be difficult to find something suitable within our set budget. Oh well…
