Tiger Airlines’ Early Bird Fares

by Ruth on June 19th, 2007

Early Bird Tiger AirlinesAs with other airlines, the earlier you book, the more likelihood you have of getting better priced airfares. But that is even more true with budget airlines. Singapore-based budget airline Tiger Airlines, for example, offer “Early Bird Fares” all year round.

Book as early as three months in advance and you can find early bird fares for as low as $1.99 one-way (excluding taxes and surcharges), such as those between Singapore and Hat Yai, Krabi (Phi Phi) or Phuket.

Just go to Tiger Airways and check out the airfares and flight availabilities there.

Love their low fares - and I still far prefer Tiger’s system of tacking on extra fees for passengers who want more ‘features’, rather than spreading higher costs across all the passengers. People who pay upsize baggage fees (and exit row fees, and seat selection fees) make my $10 fares possible. :)

Will you please tell me when My wife and I can travel from Manila (Clark) going to any destination for a cheap price like one dollar. We will go often.

Hi John! The short answer is: I can’t.

YOU will have to check out Tiger Airlines’ website for the airfares. It will depend on
    1. when you want to travel –booking ahead means lower fares
    2. your destination — from Manila you can fly to Darwin, Macau, Perth or Singapore
    3. if there is an ongoing promotion — you can sign up at their website so that you get emails of their ongoing promotions. Manila is not often included in their promos, though.

Checking out the airfares from the website is not that difficult. Check my entry here: http://www.letsvisitasia.com/2007/06/12/booking-flights-online/
