Air Asia Xpress Boarding
Remember my gripes about how passengers in budget airlines would rush to the aircraft once the boarding call is announced? Well, AirAsia followed TigerAirways’ concept of priority check-in with the recent launch of the Air Asia Xpress Boarding. How does it work?
1. Say ‘YES’ to Xpress Boarding when you purchase your flights online at airasia.com, all AirAsia sales offices, call centres and airport sales counters.
2. Pay a special introductory fee.
3. Be at the boarding gate at least 30 minutes before departure time.
The fees vary depending on the airport of origin. For a few extra bucks, you can choose your seat, avail of extra legroom, and have the chance to be one of the first to get off the aircraft!
