The Sirocco Rooftop Restaurant in Bangkok

In cities where it’s almost normal to see the air you breathe, al fresco dining may be disastrous to your health. Jutting into the city skyline like the deck of a flying ship, Sirocco was its own sparkling vista of soft light and clean lines, capped by the entrancing glow of the Sky Bar.

How does it feel to be up there, sipping a cocktail while watching the city and the Chao Phraya river 63 storeys below? Newley Purnell at Gridskipper says:

I recently paid a visit to Sirocco, Bangkok’s breathtaking rooftop restaurant, and all I have to say is this: holy fucking shit. As one of my companions said, the place is an opening scene of “Six Feet Under” waiting to happen.

That’s what you call taking alfresco dining to a new level… literally.
