15th Asian Games- Doha 2006
Just one month to go before the the 15th Asian Games opens in Doha! If you’d like to watch the games live, check the schedule of the games here, and the locations where the games will take place. Most importantly, make sure you allow ample time for the processing of your visa.
After, or in between, the games, take time to explore the Pearl of the Gulf. Sample an authentic the Middle Eastern equivalent of fastfood: shawarma. Don’t miss the Palm Tree Island, a 10 minute boat ride from Corniche and see the Doha skyline from outsea. for the more adventurous, For the more adventurous, go off-roading in the desert, or rent a quad bike and spray dirt driving upon the dunes. Some of these dunes, particularly in the southeastern side, also extend into the sea. And you can’t head home without shopping, of course!
