The hotel has been rated by Forbes this year as one of the most expensive resorts. For $12,000 per couple per night (October 2006 to April 2007), you share the island with just about 14 other guests. This all-inclusive rate includes full use of the resort as well as the 86-foot yacht, as well as a private chef, unlimited spa treatments, diving courses, big game fishing and local island cruises.
Afterall, luxury, comfort, and privacy don’t come cheap.

I love the maldives but i have been since the Tsunami. I am concerned that if their is another one then the maldives would be siped out as there is no point on these island that is more than 3m above sea level.
Even do it is one of teh most beautiful places in the world and I rate it higher than the carribean.
