Sorry for the less-than-usual updates this month. It’s been a topsy-turvy summer, and I had a hectic start into September. I am running on the dregs of my energy and I badly need a break. I need sunshine, I need the sand and the sea. I’ll be back in October, and I promise you’ll see an energized Asia in my posts.

Dragon Air Cancels Hong Kong-Bangkok Service

Dragon Air Cancels Hong Kong-Bangkok Service

Dragon Air is cancelling all Hong Kong-Bangkok flights starting September 27 and will no longer be servicing this route.
“Hong Kong-Bangkok is a very busy, competitive route, and it has not been performing to expectations for some time,” said CEO Kenny Tang. “That is why we have taken the decision to cancel the service.”
If you’re booked on a flight to Bangkok that supposed to fly after Sept. 27, they say alternative arrangements will be made for you. No details, though, so you better contact your travel agent now.
