Marriott Bangkok’s “Room of the Future”

What do you look for in a hotel? Comfort? Technological convenience? Location?

There’s one hotel that has taken all the small details into consideration. From the ergonomic design of the chairs, to the rain shower, to the technological provisions, the Marriott hotel chain is revolutionizing the design of hotel rooms. The first Marriott Hotel in Asia to have these “Rooms of the Future” will be the JW Marriott in Bangkok.

Just how different are these rooms from your run-of-the-mill hotel rooms? Click the image below and experience one of the most innovative room presentations I’ve seen on the web:

Experience Marriott

Take special note of the four-outlet console that allows you to plug your laptop or other electronic gadgets, no matter what the shape of your plug is! Oh, and the drawer safe is cool too! It allows you to recharge your laptop’s batteries while keeping them in the safe! Now, that’s what I call smart!

The Marriott presentation does look remarkable. I too am particularly impressed with the multi-plug console; it’s a gadget geek’s dream.
