Places of Worship in Singapore
When I visited Singapore, one of the things that struck me was how different religions were able to co-exist, apparently without any conflict. It was so inspiring to see people of various heritage and religious leaning being able to respect and live peacefully amongst each other. No matter what belief you belong to, you’ll never find it difficult to locate a place of worship that’ll suit you.
One evidence to such inter-cultural/inter-religious mix is the Sri Mariamman Temple, Singapore’s oldest Hindu temple, located right in the heart of… no, not Little India, but in Chinatown!
Incidentally, I can recommend Insight City Guide’s Singapore. I found it a very helpful resource during my trip. Pity that I was only in Singapore for a few days. Too many things to do, too little time.
Ah, next time, next time….
