Free Style Dining at Japan Airlines
When I fly long stretches, no matter what time the flight starts, I try to stay awake until after they serve the first meal before really settling in. When all the commotion and all the bustle of food trolleys are over, that’s the only time I can put my feet up, relax, and wait out the long flight.
Well, figuratively, of course. In reality, it’s a lot of fidgeting and futile attempts to find a comfortable position. I think of all those Business and First Class passengers and grunt.
And then finally, after hours(!) of restlessness, I nod off.
To be awakened yet again by food trolleys. Time for the second meal! Arrrgh!
And then I think of those flying Japan Airlines’ Executive (aka Business) Class who are allowed to take their second meal simply whenever they feel like it. Grunt, grunt, grunt.

Want to feel better?
Think that in a few hours, you would be enjoying a nice vacation. Free time wherein you could do whatever you want.
On the other hand, those business travellers would probably be stressed, working until the wee hours (despite the presence of jetlag), are lonely and would probably be dining alone.
How is that? Better? hehe
