Finnair Launches Flights to Kuala Lumpur in May 2007
Starting on May 2007, Finnair will start flying to the eleventh destination on its route: Kuala Lumpur.
“As a thriving business city and breathtaking leisure destination, Kuala Lumpur naturally complements our Asian strategy. Demand for Asian destinations is growing in both directions and we have excellent connections from all over Europe. It is our goal to open one to two new Asian connections each year and add frequencies to our current network,” highlights Finnair SVP Commercial Division Mika Perho.
So, whether it’s for business or pleasure, here’s another airline catering to travellers from Scandinavia. And those flying business class will be pleased with the innovative lie-flat seats Finnair promises to install on their intercontinental fleet. According to Finnair, passengers can stretch out and lie flat – even if they are 2 metres/6 foot 7 in. tall. Just what Vikings need, eh? ;)
