Asians’ Travelling Quirks
As I’ve said before, if you’re travelling to Asia, you’d better get an rough idea of your destination’s culture to increase the likelihood of a glitch-free trip. And that starts even on the way there, on the plane.
According to a survey on business travel conducted by Carlson Wagonlit Travel:
While travelling, business travellers from Asia Pacific are most likely to be irritated by other passengers. While both Australians and Japanese are most annoyed by crying babies, the Chinese dislike other travellers not checking-in over-sized luggage, and Indian travellers do not appreciate being disturbed by other passengers.
So remember, as soon as you hop onto that plane, put your best foot forward, and try not to step on others’ toes and sensibilities!
