Spring Airlines Ties up With Air Asia
From Xiamen, China, it should be considerably easy to fly to other destiantions in Southeast Asia. But what if you’re flying from other, northern parts of China? Well, there’s Spring Airlines, China’s first budget airline. And the good news is, Spring Airlines has partnered with Malaysia-based Air Asia, effectively connecting other Chinese cities to the rest of Southeast Asia via Xiamen. According to Wang Zhenghua, the chairman of Spring:
Spring will operate three round-trip flights from Shanghai to Xiamen and to Jinan starting tomorrow as a way to feed passengers to the southeastern city, where Air Asia operates flights to Southeast Asia.
Hm, considering these imporved connections and an increasing middle class in China, will we soon see more Chinese tourists in Southeast Asia?
