Let\’s Visit Asia

Magical Christmas At Disneyland Hongkong

by Ruth on November 24th, 2005

Even for Asians who have never seen snow, Christmas evoke visions of snow capped Christmas trees… even if those trees would be made of plastic leaves and branches have been screwed together (but hey, they look nearly authentic, and at leave they don’t shed their needles!). Christmas carols speaking of snowmen and chestnuts and frost will be heard over the buzz of busy shoopers nd the ka-ching of cash registers in the malls.

This year, as Hongkong Disneyland celebrates its first Christmas, those in Asia (especially those in the warmer tropics) will have the opportunity of experiencing a magical Christmas only Disney can re-create so well.

“Nothing captures Christmas like snow-capped rooftops and streets covered with snowflakes. For most people across Asia, this is a sight unseen, so we are delighted to be presenting such a magical experience for our guests,” said Roy Tan Hardy, Vice President of Marketing and Sales.

Christmas shoopers and collectors of Disney items may also find the visit to Disney Hongkong this December worthwhile.

The many stores at Hong Kong Disneyland will offer plenty of treasures and gift ideas to fill holiday stockings. Featuring over 140 Christmas season only items, guests will choose from glitzy ornaments, soft plush toys, novelty hats and more. More than 50 per cent of the holiday items will be exclusive to Hong Kong Disneyland including a variety of seasonal pins featuring some of the park’s most beloved Disney pals.

It’s a month long celebration at Disney Hongkong. Go and feel the magic of the season!
